Men don't just talk to breasts

Men will talk to anything which is of merit - breasts, legs, butt, says Suresh Nair tongue not in check.
Men don't just talk to breasts

This friend of mine came to me the other day and said, "I had a near-death experience." I was intrigued, so I asked him about it. "There was this guy standing next to me at a bus stop who read a Mallika Sherawat quote in a magazine and almost died."

I was puzzled. "I thought you said you had a near death experience." "Oh, I did," he said. "I was near him and he nearly died after reading her observation on men." "What was the observation?" I asked. "That MEN TALK TO YOUR BREASTS!"

This week audiences are caught between Meenaxi and Murder. For some, Meenaxi is murder and those are people who aren’t M F Husain’s friends.

But coming back to Mallika Sherawat’s observation that men talk to breasts, I beg to disagree. Men are ready to talk to anything that attracts their attention. So they are ready to talk to a pair of shapely legs coming out of a mini-skirt. And they are also ready to talk to Jennifer Lopez’s butt.

That’s the good thing about men, they will talk to anything which is of merit — breasts, legs, butt. And if a woman has all of these, then men would rather not talk, they would prefer to go to bed with her.

Mallika Sherawat is fast becoming the Mahesh Bhatt of heroines. She makes statements that are fun to read. Like, here’s how she described her character in Murder, "I play a sympathetic adultress." In other words, she plays a character that sleeps with a guy who is not her husband for reasons that deserve your sympathy.

In yet another interview, she warned, "After Murder, Jism and Khwahish will look like kid’s fare." Loosely translated, that means the guy she has steamy scenes in the film with does a lot of talking of the men kind.

But there is one credit she truly deserves. Mallika is a small-town girl who came to Mumbai with the khwahish of making it big in Bollywood. And now she is hell-bent on Murder.

Bollywood suddenly seems to be full of bold women. There is Meghna Naidu, who is one short of a trilogy with films like Hawas and Husn. She’s made the big leap from Kaliyon ka chaman music video to hot flicks.

And for those who keep a close watch on the trends in movies and music videos, the clothing industry is all set for a decline and fashion designers are soon going to be out of business. And with pants and skirts that barely cover their navel, women are forcing men now to talk to their belly button!

But, hey, we ain’t complaining. If Mallika Sherawat thinks men talk to breasts, then it’s a good sign. Since women always complain that men don’t listen when they talk, now at least we’ve started talking. So what if we weren’t looking into your eyes! Right, Mallika?
